Invitation to sponsor

Mā Te Rae invites you/your organisation to be a sponsor of our inaugural international indigenous evaluation conference in February, 2019. Mā te Rae was established in July 2015 as the first indigenous VOPE (voluntary organisation of professional evaluators) in the world. We are committed to using this privileged position to promote and support indigenous evaluators and indigenous evaluation around the globe. This is an opportunity for you/your organisation to stand with us and invest in this important kaupapa.

Sponsorship OptionsWe offer flexible sponsorship options and appreciate any level of contribution. We are happy to discuss other ideas that you have for customised support. All offers will be valued.
You may wish to dedicate your sponsorship towards particular aspects of the conference, including the following (also see sponsorship levels below):
·       sponsoring a keynote speaker (e.g. travel costs for overseas speakers)
·       sponsoring conference communications (e.g. live streaming and/or video recording of keynote and session presentations
·       sponsoring a conference stream / theme
·       sponsoring scholarships for Māori, Pacific, community/NGO and student delegates
·       sponsoring a post-conference seminar for a keynote speaker to address your organisation or a public audience
·       sponsoring the development of resources post the conference
·       other - to be discussed with you.

MTR 2019 Conference Sponsorship Options ​

We are proposing four broad levels of MTR Conference sponsorship:
  • Pounamu sponsor: $7,500 and above
  • Paua sponsor: $5,000 to $6,000
  • Koura sponsor: $2,500 to $3,500
  • Pipi sponsor: Less than $2,500

Notes
  1. All sponsors will be acknowledged via the use of their logo on MTR material and MTR facebook and webpage conference marketing and other materials, and a conference banner (if available)
  2. The Conference Administrator will work closely with the sponsor organisations to ensure the inclusion of sponsor materials for the conference delegate packs and conference displays occurs. The provision and return of any materials are at the sponsor’s cost, and inclusion may be subject to approval.
  3. With regard to preferential access to in-house professional development opportunities for the keynote sponsors, the Conference Coordinator (Debbie Goodwin) and Administrator (Maxine Graham) will liaise with your organisation to arrange this opportunity. Any fee, travel costs, accommodation costs, and in-house arrangements are the responsibility of the sponsoring organisation.
  4. Items for the conference packs will be coordinated by the Conference Administrator who will take care to ensure no overlap in items unless agreed by the concerned parties.
